2024 Mentally Healthy Workplaces

The 2024 Mentally Healthy Workplaces workshops are tailored for managers and supervisors, focusing on equipping them with essential skills to manage psychological health and safety within their teams. The workshops are aligned with the Mentally Healthy Workplaces toolkit and consist of two modules:

1. Psychological Health and Safety
   • Overview of relevant legislation
   • Monitoring organisational data for assessing risks
   • Identifying and assessing psychosocial hazards
   • Promoting positive mental health practices and developing control measures
2. Early Intervention and Supporting Recovery
   • Recognising warning signs and intervening early
   • Conducting supportive conversations and making workplace adjustments
   • Understanding privacy requirements and responding to critical events
   • Role-modelling positive behaviours

Workshops are available both in-person at 111 George Street, Brisbane, and online via Zoom. The sessions are highly interactive and practical, requiring basic equipment like microphone, speakers, and camera for online participation.
