A service to help employers create a workplace environment that supports employee mental and physical wellbeing is gaining momentum.
Launched in October 2022, the Healthy Workplaces Service is a joint initiative of Wellbeing SA, SafeWork SA, the Department for Industry, Innovation and Science, ReturnToWorkSA and the Office of the Commissioner for Public Sector Employment.
It is based on the principle that ‘prevention is better than cure’ and aims to help employers take proactive steps to build a positive and safe work culture – before challenges arise.
The Healthy Workplaces Service provides businesses of all sizes in South Australia with free, practical information and resources to create a healthy and thriving workplace.
Register your workplace at healthyworkplaces.sa.gov.au/service to access evidence-based information, tools, resources, and advice to help you create an optimal workplace.
