Symposium: Cultural Diversity at Work – Safe and Healthy Integration of Skilled Workers

OSH professionals are invited to attend a symposium on the interaction between migration and occupational health and safety, jointly organised by the International Sections of the ISSA on Prevention in Health Care Services and on Prevention in Transportation.

‍What does safe and healthy cooperation look like in a culturally diverse workplace? The interaction between migration and occupational health and safety will be the focus of the international symposium "Cultural Diversity at Work - Safe and Healthy Integration of Skilled Workers."

In a diverse world of work, companies looking for skilled workers are facing the challenge of onboarding employees with a migration background in a safe and healthy way.

What challenges do they and their employees face in this regard, and how can the accident insurance institutions' prevention work help?

Other questions to be discussed at the symposium include:

• How can workplaces be made safe and healthy despite language barriers?
• What does healthy leadership look like in a culturally diverse workplace?
• How does cultural diversity at work contribute to a culture of prevention?
